Eat Pray Love - Journey Finding Life Balance

Eat Pray Love is a novel memoir by American author Elizabeth Gilbert. The novel is Elizabeth's trip round the world record after he was divorced, and what he found during his travels. The story itself is really simple novel about the journey to find inner peace, but Elizabeth's speech style that flows and structured to make the story his way to Italy, India and Indonesia became the spiritual reportage an entertaining and ultimately inspiring. Especially inspiring to readers who are conducting a search for identity and integrity of real life.

Elizabeth through this book tells his experience to get away from midlife crisis. When he was at the age of thirty-one to feel confused, alone and panic. Though he had a life in the eyes of other people is fun. Exceptional education, a brilliant career, husband and home. Not happy, Gilbert actually anxious, panicky and indecisive with that condition. The climax she suffered depression, divorce, grief, failure in love and lose their way of life.

Stories:

Elizabeth Gilbert, a 31-year-old writer feels that the housewife's life is not life that he wanted to run. After the quarrel, and depression, she finally divorced. He then decided to travel around the world to search for identity and inner healing. Three years later in a still relatively young age to become a widow, 34 years, Elizabeth chose the three countries on three continents, namely Italy, India, and Indonesia as a travel destination.

Italy - Eat
First, she went to Rome to obtain gladness through the party and entertainment. With friends Italy acquaintances Elizabeth enjoying the foods of the famous Italian savory until satisfied. In Rome he was trying to forget a bad experience marital and other sentimental things. What he was doing just having fun. Go to restaurants that vary every day, museum, and partying.

India - Pray
After four months in Italy Elizabeth decided to go to India, where he visited an Ashram (a Hindu temple complete with dormitories) located on the outskirts of Mumbai to learn the spiritual with a famous teacher. In contrast to the trip and his experience in Italy, in India Elizabeth did not want to think about and do things of this world. The goal at the ashram only to find spiritual peace and closer to God. Every day she was doing yoga, prayer, meditation and helps clean the Ashram along with other pupils.

Indonesia - Love
After the Indonesian Elizabeth went to Indonesia (Bali). In Bali he intends to find a balance between worldly and spiritual life. Although Elizabeth had visited Bali before, she still not familiar with Balinese culture and did not speak Indonesian. Then he met a Hindu spiritual teacher named Mr. Ketut Liyer. Elizabeth talked about her marriage and travels around the world. Ketut Liyer explains that if you want to meditation, prayer, and get closer to God not be tiring and long-winded way. He taught Elizabeth how to get closer to God is good and easy, only about 15 minutes to 30 minutes a day. That is when you wake up in the morning and at night before bed and with a smile from the heart, mind, until the mouth.

In Bali, also Elizabeth finds her true love, Felipe a Brazilian man who had long lived in Bali. With Felipe, Elizabeth learned about the intricacies of Balinese and Indonesian culture more deeply, partying and socializing with friends and employers of foreign workers in Bali. He also learned from Felipe about love and live peacefully in Bali.
